It failed for two unrelated reasons: 1. Most men only watch football so they can appear to be macho. They are easy to spot. They don't know the rules of the game, and the first thing out of their mouths when referring to a game is, "what's the score" or "who won." It makes them appear to be a football fan without them having to know much about the game. They couldn't stand having to fake enjoying more football so they got on the bandwagon of the sissies and condemned the game. Oh well . . . We have enough football as it is. 2. The Man had intended to get the wrestling fans envolved in supporting the XFL, but they are in the group that don't really understand the game. It's much too complicated for them to follow. It requires some thought and understanding and a slight grasp of reality. In a nutshell; it was the sissies and the stupid that doomed the league. |
