Why We Have Failed at Religion

All living things have a degree of being somewhat telepathic.

We can easily see it in birds, bees, herd animals, etc.

They accept this without question and use it in their daily lives.

As humans began developing larger brains, they began trying to understand things.

Obviously, they didn't have the mental capacity to comprehend what was happening.

Unscrupulous ones found that they could control others by telling them what it meant.  Naturally, they claimed to be closer to this "power" in order to dominate.  That's why there are so many silly stories associated with religion.  Stupid people will believe anything.

To this day, society is still "dancing to the wrong drummer."

It seems that greed, the lust for power, and boosting their own egos still drives people to assume the role of "religious leader" with this closer connection to God than the rest of you fools.

When you learn that all religious books are written to appeal to the bad people as well as the good ones, you will begin seeing the light.

In the same book, "an eye for an eye" is written for the bad people, and "forgive thy enemies" is written for the good ones.

It is easy to tell which you are.
