Some TV stations are now putting advertisements along with their totally unnecessary logo in the score/info area. Try this little trick. Whenever you see an obnoxious ad, think for a second how greedy the money-grubbing company really is. Let it annoy you. Your subconscious mind will help you to avoid buying from them. You will think of someone else instead, and go there.
