This is just to point out an oddity in the human psyche. The entertainment industry tried for years to come up with something sexy about men. They had several features about women with which to work, like figure, breasts, legs, etc. but nothing really sexy about men. They tried several things, but nothing really worked. Someone thought of the gluts long before they said butt or ass on TV. It was a stretch that a man's butt would be the thing that women desired, but it caught on. The men freaked out at the thought of women looking at their butts and comparing them. They could keep their penises a mystery, but they couldn't hide their butts in tight shorts The self-conscious men started wearing baggy pants and shorts. It was a natural for black athletes because they tend to avoid sunshine, anyway. Now, when the players are standing around on the court, it looks like they are wearing skirts from the '50's. From a distance, if they had boob bumps, they'd look like tall girls . . . To hide their inferiority complex, they chose to look like sissies. Boxers also went for skirts, but who watches them, anyway. |
