An article on MLB would indicate so. If he was only 20, I could see him whining to the press before he has all of the facts. It appears that his plan is to say to other teams that he will play, but he won't really give it his all. He'll just go through the motions, take the paychecks, and pout and whine. If true, that would be a role model that any idiot's kids would look up to. I have a lot to say about society's choices of role models, but that's for another tirade. Grow up Shef. You should be happy that someone is dumb enough to want you. And your teammates shouldn't be too upset with you claiming to be a better person than them because you deferred some money to cut your income taxes. All of us Saints try to avoid taxes. They'll understand. |
