Isn't a person spoiled if all they have to do is to pray for something? Why pray in the first place? What imbecile would think that their god is so dumb that he doesn't know what they want? I'd hate to have a god that was so limited or so insensitive to my needs that I had to beg for what I want or think I need. If I were a god I wonder how I'd treat beggars. How many times would I have to ignore their prayers before they got the idea that I don't respect that form of behavior from intelligent people. |
