There is no doubt about it. He is a con man. Anyone that extracts money from the feeble minded, the senile, and the uneducated is a con man. Unfortunately, our fraud statute don't seem to apply to those that claim God to be involved in their rip-off schemes. He says that he had a dream the God told him that the US would be hit with a hurricane, and maybe a tsunami this year. What moron doesn't already know about the hurricane season and the accompanying floods? If any other company made outlandish promises in order to con people out of their money, someone would be in jail. He proves that the power of numbers really carry political weight. There is no shortage of stupid people that can be manipulated by a religious con man. Actually, those that are dumb enough to send him money deserve to lose it. It's a shame that they don't use this money to actually help someone in need instead of filling a crook's pocket. |
