Some idiots are for freedom of speech as long as you don't disrespect their religion, or their mother, or yell fire in a theatre, or any other thing that their simple mind can label as wrong. If a person finds a religion where religious leaders can hire hitmen to commit murder for any childish reason their sick minds can create, how can their religion be respected. Civilized people would charge the person with a crime, especially is the crime was committed and the money paid. Not everyone's mother is sweet and innocent. Some of them encourage their children to exact revenge and kill. Some of them harbor killers and are excused because they helped raise them. If a person in a theatre hears someone shout fire and they see no fire or smell no smoke only an idiot would panic. Maybe that's how we thin the herd. We do know that some animals are stupid enough to follow others off the edge of a cliff. Do we really need that kind to procreate? Freedom of speech means that we can say anything that we want to, then sit back at see what mindless idiots haven't learned the old saying, "Sticks and stones can break my bones, but names will never hurt me." It actually helps a child grow up. Sadly, some children are only taught how to be evil and hurt others. They aren't taught by good people that deserve respect. |
