Ask any con facing life in prison and most of them will tell you that death is not a penalty. It is almost a blessing for most of them. The death "penalty" is simply orchestrated to create jobs, most of them government jobs. They take 10-12 years, and spend millions of dollars to execute someone. If there is any doubt as to a person's guilt, I am for our present system, but when there is absolutely no doubt, we should do it quickly or eliminate it altogether. AND STOP LYING ABOUT IT BEING A PENALTY. |
