Mourning a Death |
|
A person can only mourn for themselves, a very selfish exercise. A religious person would have to be so selfish that they would actually want someone to be forced out of Heaven or Paradise and brought back to this place. Obviously, they don't really believe there is such a place. A person that isn't religious knows that once a person is dead, it is too late. Mourning is simply a person feeling sorry for themselves, while acting like it's for the dead person. Mourners say that you are insensitive if you aren't as selfish and self-centered as them. The really sick ones want to rehash it every year and dredge up all of the bad memories they can. Especially when there isn't enough bad news to fill the time slot. My suggestion: Say your good words and do your good deeds to the person before they die. Some of us realize that it doesn't do any good after a person is dead. |
