Edited DVD's — Bits and Pieces of Movies

This would be almost funny if stupidity was the only criteria for identifying humor.

An ad I just read:

"We remove all profanity, nudity, graphic violence, and sexual content."

I'll bet the kids really go for these movies.

You can bet that they will be ashamed to tell anyone at school about how ridiculous their parents are.

I agree that the quality of present movies is borderline garbage, but censorship is about the stupidest thing a parent can do to their children.

It accomplishes three things:

1. Forces the kids to sneak and lie.
2. Proves to them that their parents are idiots.
3. Proves to more intelligent parents that the kid's parents are idiots.

It proves a few more things, but those are the three that immediately come to mind.

Censorship solves nothing except to teach kids that it is okay for those in power to keep things from those not in power.

I really like to see kids rebel at this notion.

Promoting freedom of speech is much more important than forcing kids to the street for their input
