Copyright Police in Wal-Mart |

How can we allow some idiot photo printer in Wal-Mart decide whether someone is a crook or not? They think that they can decide who has a right to have a photo print made. If it looks too professional they can say that it was probably stolen and refuse to print it. What makes them think that a clerk has the expertise or the authority to decide who legally owns a picture? It doesn't take a genius to see that any law that even hints at giving them that kind of total authority is ridiculously unconstitutional on many levels. Why don't we have at least one lawyer with enough sense to file a class action suit against them? I personally hate lawsuits but sometimes you have to stoop way down to fight the low-lifes. Wal-Mart knows better, but they seem to enjoy flaunting this undeserved/self-proclaimed authority. |
